Tirukkadigai, also known as Sholingapuram, is a spiritually charged Divya Desam nestled amidst hillocks and forests near Arakkonam and Tiruttani in Tamil Nadu. Sacred Legends
According to legend, Vishwamitra attained the exalted title of Brahmarishi after worshipping Yoga Narasimha here for a mere one kadigai (24 minutes) – hence the name Tirukkadigai. It is firmly believed that a moment of focused devotion at this Divya Desam can erase lifetimes of karmic baggage.
The place derives the name Sholingapuram after a Chola king discovered a Shiva lingam here and established the region as a center of spiritual convergence.
The presence of Yoga Anjaneya with conch and discus further emphasizes the spiritual might of this shrine, where the devotee is protected and uplifted by divine strength.
