Sightseeing & Transfers

• All the timings, distances and durations shown in the itinerary are for informational purpose and calculated with Google Maps, it may differ from actuals, exact timings to be reconfirmed with driver during the tour.
• Ac will be turned off, while travelling in Ghat Roads and in the Hill Stations

Hotel Check In and Check Out Policy

• Please carry a valid identity proof (Passport, Driver’s License PAN Card etc.) as they are required during check in.
• You are requested to provide the hard copy of the hotel voucher at the time of Check in.
• Check-In time is 1200-1400 hours and the Check-Out time is 0900-1100 hours.
• Early arrival and late departure are subject to availability of rooms.
• Non Ac rooms only available at Hill Stations like Munnar, Ooty, Thekkady, Kodai etc.
• Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in most hotels are on A La Carte/fixed menu, buffet would be subject to availability, In case of A La Carte, meal credit would be extended to the guest.

General Houseboat Policy

• Check in Time: 12 PM and Checkout 09 AM
• Houseboats are for Exclusive usage and not shared
• Houseboats are accompanied by navigator and cook
• Meal Plan – Start with Welcome Drink, Lunch, Tea & Snacks, Dinner and ends with Breakfast (Typical Kerala Cuisine ,if you require any other cuisine inform us in advance)
• 6 PM till 8 AM Houseboat will be Anchored and cruise will start again from 8.00 AM.

Deluxe Houseboat

• AC is operational only from 9 PM to 6AM.

Premium Houseboat

• AC is operational from Check in to Check out only in Bedrooms.

Luxury Houseboat

• AC is operational from Check in to Check out in Whole Boat.

Important Points to be noted for Houseboat Stays

• The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night. The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the
  fisherman lay their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to sail in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped by 0900Hrs.
• Overnight stay at the Houseboat.**Since houseboats are stationed in the bank of the backwater during the night the problem of mosquito and water borne insects do come up hence you are kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent along with you.
• The choice of food in the houseboat is very limited and mostly basic south Indian meal is served. The quality of the houseboat cannot be compared with the quality of the rooms in the hotel where the guest is staying. The rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region at the closest to the nature.
