According to the Sthala Purana, when King Mahabali was pressed under the divine foot of Trivikrama, he could not witness the Lord’s full form. This massive image is a visual representation of the cosmic victory of humility and devotion.
In addition, Lord Vishnu is said to have manifested as Adisesha in a smaller shrine within the temple complex, reinforcing His divine presence and compassion.
